Very good condition overall for an object of this age and rare type, with signs of traditional use. Some minor marks, nicks, chips, scratches, and abrasions. Some small losses to the edge of the shield. Some repainting in places, including to the red and black areas at the center. A few occasional signs of insect damage, but not significant. Small hole to the reverse, probably from a old mount, and a couple of other small holes.
