A late 19th century Waterbury "No. 61" model Standing Regulator. 8-day time only weight driven movement with dead beat escapement, maintaining power, compensating pendulum and a porcelain dial with Roman numerals and sweep seconds. Oak case with carved crown over a single long door with circular dial glass, reeded frame and applied bosses, with a rectangular lower and paneled plinth with carved fan detail on a simple molded base.
