Wedgwood Black Basalt Classical Vase. Everted moulded rim mouth, tapered neck, round body which gradually tapers to a tapered round foot. White decoration in relief consists of swags with garlands on the neck, a laurel sprig frieze along the top of the body, classical figures around the body, and an acanthus motif around the foot. 'Wedgwood, England, small cross in circle mark, V' all impressed in the bottom. 1893. {Approximate dimensions: 14 3/4 high x 7 1/2 inches diameter.}. Condition: Some cracking to white decoration. Minor wear to the bottom. A few very light surface marks.
