circa 1928, 18 in. barrel inscribed on top "Westley Richards & Co. London", left side of receiver inscribed "W.R. .425 Magnum Express" below serial number LT41862, raised blade front sight, island rear sight with standing sight marked 100, folding sights marked 300 and 500, Mauser action, bolt handle with "BV" hallmark, single column extended magazine, walnut stock with checkered pistol grip and forend, horn grip cap and forend tip, shield under stock, stamped "K" behind trigger guard, sling attachment points under barrel and stock, LOP 15 in. to orange buttpad, 40-1/4 in. overall length, 8 lbs. 11 oz.

Condition Report: action and trigger appear to function, handling wear throughout, receiver and bolt relatively clean, scratches, dings, wear and minor oxidation to exterior metal surfaces, dings to underside of barrel, rifling and minor oxidation apparent in barrel, streak marks along the sides of entire barrel, possibly reattached front sling point, mushroomed buttpad due to storage orientation, minor cracking developing on forend cap and butt cap, scuffs and residue to walnut stock, areas with loss of finish
