Letter to "Wyman," in full: "Your mother, but especially your father grew to be so close to me during the final years that I felt very near to them—a strange identity that transcended the years. I'm glad you want to preserve the signed transcript of A Dream of Love for the Wesleyan Library, proud to let you have it. Sorry not to have seen the performance myself it is a sad comment on the state of our theatre that a playright [sic] has to wait a lifetime for a hearing. Glad to hear that your family is thriving." Williams adds a few corrections to the text in his own hand. In fine condition.
