William Rodman & Co, an Irish Arts and Crafts poker work mirror c.1900, paper label on reverse for William Rodman & Co Dealers in Works of Art, 41 Donegall Place, Belfast Shaped frame, decorated with Celtic designs in pokerwork, some coloured staining, bevelled glass 73.5 cm high x 137.5 cm wide Notes: William Rodman & Co were listed in The Belfast and Province of Ulster Directory of 1890 as Carvers, Gilders and Picture-Frame makers. The Belfast School of Pokerwork was run by Mina Robinson and along with Eta Lowry, they founded the Irish Decorative Arts Association of Belfast around 1894.
