Condition details: This painting is in very good condition. Inspection under UV light reveals nothing of issue and no signs of restoration. Close inspection with the unaided eye reveals a few small areas where the varnish is uneven. Also seen upon close inspection is a very short crack in the pigment just to the left of the subjects’ hat. This narrow crack is approximately 1/4 inch in length. The work is intentionally unframed. First though: inscribed on canvas and artist’s hand: Schenck Feb 93 A Victum to Sunsets. (sic).
