Very rare and desirable Winchester item. Very few of these survived and most of those are in poor condition. This case measures 18"x 18" x 68" and is designed to hold 20 rifles. Circa 1920s, the Winchester logo (in the trademark lightning font) is clear on all 4 sides of the inserted shelf. A must-have for any serious Winchester collector.
In the book "Winchester Rarities" by Tom Webster, he states that only about 5 of these are known to still exist.
