Condition Report:
Surface dirt throughout. There has been a reaction to the blue pigment in the sitter's coat which has left an uneven surface and a slight discrepancy between the shade of blue at the very edge of the sitter's coat and the rest the jacket. There is a small (approx. 1mm) beige blemish to the sitter's cravat. The miniature has slipped slightly in its mount. The reverse hairwork with some surface dirt and very fine white surface mould.
