Yeh-Jau James Liu (1910-2003) Chinese watercolor. Signed upper left. Liu graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts, Hangchow, China, in 1935. He was a professor of painting at the National Taiwan Academy of Arts. He was also invited to teach Watercolor Techniques at San Francisco State University. He operated a studio on Main Street in Tiburon, California until his death in 2003. His works are in public and private collections nationwide, and in China. His works are in the permanent collections of the National Historical Museum of Taiwan, China, and the Fine Arts Gallery in San Diego.Overall size: 15 x 17 1/2 in.Sight size: 14 1/4 x 16 1/2 in.
