"Japanese Chrysanthemum and Butterflies" by Yukoku Matsui, from the Kotori no negura, "Birds and Flowers." This is an authentic first woodblock print created and published by Unkindodo, Kyoto in 1901, Meiji Era.

Yukoku Matsui was active in early 1900s. The series of woodblock prints of birds and flowers [Kotori no negura] is his major known work. It belongs to the greatest Japanese woodblock art of the Meiji Era.
