Condition Report:
Original canvas, which is undulating very slightly along the left and right edges. Small nail holes along the edges are mostly covered by the frame but remain visible in the area of the signature, the centre of the bottom edge as well as the centre of the right edge. A line of fine craquelure about 13cm in length is visible close to the centre of the canvas. A few minor cracks to the paint surface are scattered elsewhere. There is a tiny scratch with associated paint loss to the top handle of the basket, a faint scratch close to the centre of the left edge and some minor scratches and flecks of paint loss elsewhere. There is a light layer of surface dirt. Inspection under UV light reveals no obvious signs of retouching. Framed.
