Date: c. 1660

Description: Beautiful veduta with Liebfrauenbasilika, church and Bockwindmühle in the foreground. From a series of Dutch and Flemish town views: 2nd state with three monks (flagellants?) in the foreground:

Size: 21.2 cm x 28.5 cm (8.3 x 11.2 in)

Condition: Rather good condition. The paper is discoloured due to its age. The edges of the sheet are trimmed close to and within the edges of the plate. Pale discolouration on the entire page, large liquid stain in the lower half of the sheet. Long restored marginal tear at lower right. The lower right corner of the sheet is damaged. Along the left edge of the sheet creased on all sides, bumped and torn in places and fixed by paper strips. Along the upper right edge of the sheet a bump and a restored short marginal tear.
