One of the first books that were printed in Jerusalem, by the printing press that was the gift of Sir Moses Montefiore and his wife Judith to Rabbi Israel Bak. Extremely rare.
Before us is the personal copy of the Rebbe Rabbi Yitzchak Shlomo Goldberg of Żelechów. His signature appears on the title page and an inscription by him appears at its end.
Among the leaves of the book there is a long Kvitle handwritten by him.
The Rebbe Rabbi Yitzchak Shkomo Goldberg of Żelechów (1813-1872) was the son of the Rebbe Rabbi Yechiel Michl of Zvhil and the son-in-law of the 'Be'er Moshe' of Kozhnitz.
