A wonderful bedspread in pure natural silk, hand-painted with polychrome. A cartouche with a gallant scene is depicted at the centre, surrounded by rich ramage decorations. At the four corners there are some beautiful cheerful musician cherubs. The quality of the painting is refined and very artistic. A rare artefact, a unique piece, painted entirely by hand with a brush tip. A bedspread able to transform any environment with its elegance and refinement. It is a very striking piece seen from up close. Along three sides runs a hand-knotted pure silk trimming. Its visual effect is overwhelming.
