longcase clock, Mannheim, dated 1770, one- piece oak-housing, profiled, 3 sides embossed fields, removable upper part (roof tension cracks), this glazed on three sides, in the center with door/lock/key, colorless painted metal broke-arch dial with tin dial, in arcus Platter: fecit 1770 "G.C. Rüb Uhrmacher Mannheim", brass hand with alarm disc, work probably of watch maker F.J. Braun in Eberbach, brass plates with large distance thorns, anchor escapement, hour-stroke on bell, rack strike train, drive over chains and weights (1 chain is supplied loose), alarm clock work removed, Pendulum disc dented, running period. 1 day, H. approx. 236cm, condition of movement 3-4
