A stunning multi-coloured necklace of near round Tahitian pearls, selected for their shimmering green, aubergine, purple and blue overtones, and finished with a solid invisible clasp. The exotic Tahitian pearl is grown for around 2 years in the black-lipped Pinctada maxima oyster from the warm saltwater lagoons of French Polynesia. The overtones of the pearls are carefully matched in the peacock colours to create an elegant necklace that is unique and easy to wear. The near round pearls measures between 10x13mm in diameter, creating a slight graduation to the front of the necklace. The pearls have a beautiful nace quality with some natural growth characteristics on the pearls that do not detract from the elegance of the necklace. The necklace is strung by hand with knots between each pearl for safety and is completed with a secure invisible clasp. One end pearl receives a fine quality screw and the other end pearl a bolt mechanism. The clasp easily functions by gently twisting it counter clockwise to unlock, and clockwise to lock.
