pendulum clock mamluk - Gilt bronze - 19th century

beautiful antique gilt bronze Pendulum Clock " Mamluk " made between 1830 - 1840 in France. On the dial the manufacturers name Daubree E Nancy. It representing a Mamluk soldier with holding his sword on his arabian horse. The base is decorated with leaves and Rinceaux. The measure of the large clock is 64 cm height , width 40 cm. The clock runs properly and comes with the pendulum and key. Good condition for age with signs of use . One mounting for the back of the clock has been replaced.

. For a safer transport the clock will be disassembly and needs readjustment

. Mamluks were ruler in Egypt until the Ottoman Conquest in 1516 , than served for the ottoman army long years , finaly fought for Napoleons Army.
