Antique sink in very hard bare stone, entirely carved by hand from a single block of stone. The back has a rectangular shape, the front is rounded. The sink was used by ancient peasant populations of the city of the Sassi di Matera. The back was stuck in the rock, the front has a hole and a concave part. An element of considerable historical importance, to be used in any environment. The concave front has a dark colour, which is easy to clean to let the bare stone emerge.
