Volume 1, xviii + 407 [8] pp + 39 of 40 plates called for ( lacking ' A Female Quaderoon', page 296 ). Volume 2, iv + 404 [8] pp + 38 of 40 plates called for ( lacking' Indian Female of the Arrowauka Nation', page 190 and 'Europe, supported by Africa and America', page 394 ). Scattered foxing ( affecting margin of plates) but generally clean and bright. Very good hardbacks in original ( or certainly contemporary ) calf boards. New calf spines and marbled eps.
