[3], 180-284 pp, [3] pl list, 155 plates, (as called for), 4 double page maps, ink name to fpd & tp, hinges strengthened, some text leaves watermarked 1809 some 1812, some plates dated 1811 & watermarked J Whatman 1808, printed by T Bensley, Bolt Court, Fleet Street, London. The B&W plates are superb, some of the more important plates are double page and are stunning! 13.5 * 11 * 3.5 inch. Uncommon, there are 158 names to the subscribers list indicating a small number produced? (Allibone 2820. Anderson 336). Title continues: Consisting of a series of Views from the source of each river to its mouth. Accompanied by Descriptions, Historical, Topographical, and Picturesque.
