Old Master Paintings to Modern Art in Amsterdam

On Monday, November 26th, Veilinghuis AAG will offer at auction the catalogue of its autumn fine art sale, featuring works from old master paintings to modern art.  The selection of 131 lots will feature various subjects from rural landscapes to urban scenes and sensual nudes. 

A special section of this sale is dedicated to Isaac Israels (1865-1934) and comprises no fewer than six paintings as well as a pastel drawing. This collection of works clearly presents the versatility of the Dutch artist through his varying subjects, ranging from a portrait, a nude, an interior scene  to characters of the working class: telephone operators and a military soldier.
