With patinated bronzed finish overall, the figure modelled standing and nude, his left forearm raised at the elbow, and stood atop a matching pedestal. 207 cm. high overall.Discovered in 1972 off the coast of Riace, Calabria, the Riace Warriors are two full-size Greek bronzes of naked bearded warriors. Believed to have been cast about 460-450 BC. The model offered here is a copy of ‘Statue A’, who is believed to possibly represent Tydeus.
