1 Gulden Pattern
1 Gulden Pattern. 1898. Thick rim. Brede rand. Hoofd naar links. Mt. mercuriusstaf. TYPE II c (1904–1908). ‘Kroningstype’ door P. Pander. Mmt. hellebaard. Sch. 810a (sic). Silver. null g. RRRR. PCGS SP64. Only example in the population . Unspecified. In the Handboek der Nederlandse Munten, Jacques Schulman erroneously recorded this issue as 810a instead of the correct 801a. While traditionally regarded as a unique specimen, current evidence indicates that at least two examples survive. A corresponding pattern, exhibiting the same broad rim, compressed P. Pander signature, and narrower shield, was offered at auction by Künker GmbH & Co. three years ago. No co
