Description: A hand-knotted Persian wool runner with a brick-red field organized around a sequence of large floral palmettes and rounded rosettes. The larger motifs alternate with branching sprays and serrated leaves in dark blue, cream, ochre, muted green and pale blue. A dark main border encloses repeating flowers and angular leaf forms, with narrow floral guards defining the field and outer edge. The end design continues into partial floral motifs, with short fringe extending from the woven foundation.
