10¢ NO ELECTRICIRTY VIBRA-MASSAGE MAGIC CHAIR

C. 1930s-1940s scarce coin-operated mechanical massage chair, featuring very colorful marquee advertising "No Electricity Magic Chair Vibra-Massage Relieves Fatigue". Constructed of painted wood with original molded back and seat pad, retaining its 10¢ coin mechanism. These were usually installed in bus stations, arcades, drug stores, and other public venues. These machines offered patrons a brief vibrating massage while promoting the safety of their innovative no-electricity design. A charming survivor from the golden age of coin-operated amusement and vending equipment with excellent display appeal. CONDITION: Overall good condition, with some scuffs, scrapes, and paint loss, consistent with age and use. A very good example of an extremely difficult-to-find piece in any condition.
