10pc Collection of Compagnie de Navigation Sud-Atlantique Ocean Liner Postcards

Collection of vintage postcards focusing on the French maritime history of the Compagnie de Navigation Sud-Atlantique. The group includes various formats including exterior ship portraits at sea, views of the vessels in the Port of Bordeaux and Avant-Port de Verdon, and rare interior depictions of first-class accommodations. Notable interior views include the first-class smoking room (Fumoir), salon, and private staterooms on the SS Massilia, as well as a first-class interior cabin on the SS Lutetia. The cards are primarily printed lithographs and photogravures. Many cards are postally used with cancellations and handwritten correspondence in French and English, featuring dates ranging from 1918 to 1924.
