Twelve blush ivory Royal Worcester dessert plates circa 1880. Hand painted various florals, each feature two distinct plants, painted as in a botanical drawing, fluted sides and gilded rims. 1 with chip to rim. the rest in good condition. Each 6 3/4"x6 3/4". Weight on all 5 pds 3 oz. Royal Worcester was established in 1751 and is believed to be the oldest or second oldest remaining English porcelain brand still in existence today. PROVENANCE: A Charleston SC Private Estate.
