12th-13th Century Angkor Stele Ganesha & Teaching
Ca. 12th-13th century stele depicting Ganesha and a teaching Buddha. The somewhat naive image of Buddha appears to illustrate an Angkor Wat style Buddha. The stele without the wood base measures 40cm x 18cm x 5cm (or 34cm tall excluding its locator). Loose mounted to a wood base (later).
