13 Rolls Historic Art Nouveau Panoramic Wallpaper, Paris 1900 Exposition Universelle. Designed by M. Prosper Tétrel for installation at the Paris Exposition Universelle. The Panorama was designed to encompass all four seasons; this offering includes three of the four seasons, with duplicate spacer panels between. Printed by Société anonyme des Anciens établissements Desfossé & Karth, fabricant, éditeur, Issy-les-Moulineaux, 1898/1899 Paris, France (Tétrel); Issy-les-Moulineaux, France, (Desfossé et Karth). Circa 1898-1900 {7' 2 1/4" H., the panels at full length, 21 1/4" W.}. Visions d'Exposition 1900, L'art théatral à Paris mentions designer Tétrel as one of several key designers whose focus on the fair "came from all four corners of the 'intellectual horizon' of Paris. Specific citing this wallpaper, p. 112._x000B__x000B_The Paris Exposition, edited by D. Croal Thomson, assisted by Herbert E. Butler and E.G. Halton.
