(14) Lineol Italian Tropical Infantry & Bersaglieri Figures

Fourteen Lineol Italian tropical infantry and Bersaglieri figures form a cohesive North African or colonial service grouping in matching sand-tan uniforms, brown boots, and tropical pith helmets. Two highly desirable Bersaglieri elite infantrymen stand out with the distinctive black capercaillie feather plumes on their helmets. The group also includes a marching side drummer, a ceremonial standard bearer carrying a detailed metallic-accented Italian crescent Schellenbaum or Jingling Jolly, a mounted officer on a chestnut horse, and eleven combat infantrymen equipped with field packs, canteens, and rifles in various marching and shoulder-arms positions. The rider is removable, and the Jingling Jolly is also removable. Two stickers are included, one featuring General Erwin Rommel, the "Desert Fox, " with a campaign map of Libya and Egypt, and the second showing Deutsches Afrikakorps insignia and combat imagery from 1941-1943. Normal light wear from age and handling is present. The horse measures approximately 9 cm L, while the figures range from approximately 7 cm to 7.5 cm H from the base to the top of the head. All figures show minimal wear and are in very good overall condition.
