Modern pearl necklace that stands out because of the ingenious closure. The yellow gold clasp is set with diamonds. 6 brilliant cut diamonds of 0. 01 ct each, 0. 06 ct in total, set in white gold. Clarity VS2, Colour H. The necklace is strung with knots between the pearls. The pearls have a diameter of approximately 0. 5 cm each. Total length is 46. 5 cm. The clasp engages when you tilt one half a quarter turn. It then falls on a catch so it is securely fastened. This is something you have to master and perhaps preferably have someone else do it. The design is by goldsmith Y. Suik from Laren, who has been active since 1984. Gold weight is approx. 4. 5 grams. Total weight of the necklace is 21. 4 grams. The pearls have a beautiful ivory-coloured lustre. Hallmarked with the oak leaf with 585 and with the maker's mark of the goldsmith (Y + S) . Comes in a beautiful jewellery box.
