Bourbon brooch in 14K gold and emeralds totalling 1. 50 ct and rose-cut diamonds totalling 1. 2 ct Sicily, late 1800s Large Bourbon brooch from the late 1800s, in 14K gold, embellished by a central emerald and 6 accent emeralds, natural, untreated, totalling 1. 50 ct, and numerous (24) rose-cut diamonds which make it shine, totalling 1. 2 ct The item is authentic from the era descrived and is in perfect condition, with no flaws, wear, or missing elements. Part of a private collection, a fabulous item of jewellery for thos who love antique jewellery. Size: 5. 3 x 3. 4 cm Weight: 12. 6 g Although Bourbon jewellery does not have a high value as far as the materials are concerned, they feature very high-quality craftsmanship. In general, the gold content is never very high, but it is not always easy to define the carat weight of items of jewellery from the Bourbon period, as each goldsmith had his own personal 'recipe' for the gold. Nevertheless, these are rare and precious items of jewellery, which deserve to be worn with pride. Because the gemstones are in their settings it isn't possible to ascertain the exact carat weight. The refined and stunning design of the piece adds to the total value. Worldwide tracked shipping via express courier
