2 antique gold/silver pendants filled with rose diamonds The pendants date from the late 19th century. 10 rose diamonds have been set per pendant. One pendant lacks a small one. The measurements of the diamonds are: 2 smallest to 4 mm largest. The pendants are marked with various hallmarks. The oak leaf for 14 kt gold, maker's mark JR2 and the sword. The diamonds are set in silver. This was common in the 19th century because it was believed that this was the only way to bring out the brilliance of the stones. The pendants can be relatively easily forged into earrings. These were probably used as an ear-iron pendant or hats clocks. Worn with the regional garments by the wealthier citizens.
