14 kt. Yellow gold - Brooch - 3.10 ct Ruby - Pearls

[ translate ]

Stunning Bourbon brooch in 14 kt (585/1000) gold, with 1 ruby (verneuil) at the centre, surrounded by 17 natural micro pearls. Brooch weight: 5. 60 g. Brooch measurements: L 5 cm x H 1. 70 cm. Bourbon jewellery is characterised by very fine workmanship, despite the value of the materials used not being very high. The new manufacturing techniques of the period allowed for the creation of jewellery using thin metal foil that was cut and embossed, thereby producing items of jewellery with a limited quantity of gold but a very striking and opulent look thanks to the workmanship and the use of stones, especially the patterns of small pearls that characterised the Bourbon era. The quality of the gold is not generally very high, however it is not always easy to determine the fineness of Bourbon era jewellery because every goldsmith used their own personal gold "recipe". Despite this, this is very rare and precious jewellery - very hard to find. The gold fineness is 14 kt gold, the gold hallmark is not visible, but the originality and authenticity of the metal is guaranteed, tested with reagents in a goldsmith workshop. Unique item from a private collection. Buyers outside the EU must take into account VAT and any customs duties they may have to pay. Customs and tax: your country of residence could charge additional customs duties and import taxes. Please check the laws of your country to determine if import duties or taxes are applicable. We cannot be held responsible for any expenses incurred for importing items of jewellery into the purchaser's country of residence.
