14 kt. diamond, Silver, Yellow gold - Earrings Diamond - Diamonds
From the private collection 19 century old mine cut diamond earrings made of 14 karat pink gold and silver. Due to the irregularity of the diamonds which are cut by hand it´s diffucult to determine their weight without taking them out. Each earring contains 9 diamonds ranging from 1,9 mm to 3,2 mm (central stones) The diamonds are set in silver foil which was normal in the 19 th century to emphasize the shining of the diamonds. The photos are taken in natural day light. In the evening light the diamonds look white.
