14 kt. glass - Brooch glass

Two Victorian Micro Mosaic brooches with handmade micro mosaic. Each tiny (tesserae) piece of these graceful floral mosaic brooches is made of glass by hand. Micro mosaic jewellery was popular during the early to mid-19th century.
. The Flower Brooch is in very good used condition. The marks on the hook are so tiny they cannot be detected. Therefore acid tested for 14 kt yellow gold (see photo) excepted the pin.
. Measurement: 2. 7 cm. (1. 06”) x 2. 3 cm (0. 90“) Weight: 6 gr.
. Round Forget me Not brooch with safety pin. Marked 14 kt (see photo) . The pin is slightly bent but works well. A few small chips have been removed from the edge of the (black glass) background, but that is hardly visible (see photos) .
. Measurement: diameter 2. 7 cm. (1. 06”) . Weight: 4 grams
