14K Gold Case Victorian Miniature Portrait Pendant

Hand painted portrait miniature of Mary Erringer Brown Wanamaker (1839-1920 Pennsylvania). Oval portrait held inside a 14k gold case with curved glass front. Held inside a blue leather easel back display case with a lock of hair. Locket inscribed "To my son Rodman Wanamaker on his 21st birthday, Mother 1884." Wanamaker commissioned Addison Mizner to build "La Guerida" in 1923, which was sold to Joseph Kennedy in 1933 and became the Winter White House under President John F. Kennedy.
