14K Gold Pocket / Wrist Watch

Waltham Watch Company (American, active 1850-1957) mixed materials, model 1907, grade 361, serial no. 29295425, 1915. A 14K gold pocket watch with 14K lugs attached for use as a wrist watch. The back is engraved Bibbi Aadne Pedersen.

Dimensions: 1 3/4 inches tall X 1 1/4 inches wide; 4.4 cm tall X 3.2 cm wide. Weight: 23.2 grams. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: Not running, needs cleaning, missing the wrist strap, minor scratching.

Provenance: From an estate in Virginia, descended through the family.

Additional Information: Bibbi Aadne Pedersen was born in Oslo in 1882. Her husband was a ship's officer. She died in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in April, 1931 at her home at 1538 S. Wilton St.
