14kt Diamond Horseshoe Necklace Floating Solitaire
14kt Diamond Horseshoe Necklace, Three-in-One Convertible - 18" 2mm round snake chain, lobster clasp. Age 1980's-1990's. This was custom-made and very nice quality. It has 24 channel-set baguettes in the horseshoe with a .30 ctw floating diamond solitaire stone that sits inside the horseshoe - these are slide pendants and can be worn together or separately - just the horseshoe, just the solitaire pendant or just he chain. Total weight of the necklace and pendant is appx. 18.80 grams. The solitaire slide pendant has an appx. 4mm by 3.9mm by 3.1mm solitaire diamond with a .30 ctw. The diamond is appx H/I in color, the girdle is even and medium. The clarity is good. There are some typical inclusions, S12. The horseshoe has 24 baguettes that range appx. from 2mm down to 1.3mm. The color of the baguettes is appx. H/I in color, S1-S12. The horseshoe is appx. 3.4" tall and wide and is marked 14kt and .52 for the ctw of the baguettes. This was custom made by a local quality jeweler. At the time this was purchased in the late 1980's-1990 the cot was $3,000. The present value of money for that pieces in 2019 is $5,700.00. The original owners were involved in horse racing and attention was paid to detail. This is great for the horse racing enthusiast and also a good luck themed piece for casinos and just good luck in life. Beautiful quality necklace waiting for the right person. This piece makes a great gift for the horse and horse racing enthusiast and also can be a little more subdued by wearing the solitaire slide alone - or just the chain. Very good condition.
