14kt Emerald & Diamond V Necklace, Herringbone, 15"
Vintage 14kt Emerald & Diamond Necklace/Choker 15" with a v drop of marquise emeralds and graduated diamonds. Herringbone chain that is appx. 2.3mm wide. weight is 7.39. There are a dozen marquise emeralds arranged in a double row with points outward. They are approximately 4mm long and 2.5mm wide. The approximate weight of the emeralds collective is .60 tcw. There are 14 diamonds on the opposite side of the drop that are graduated in size 1mm to 2mm wide with a center gold divider. The drop is about 1" long and slightly over 1" across t the top open area of the V. The herringbone chain is appx. 2.3mm wide and has a beveled edge with a lobster clasp. It is signed with a VIER and what looks like a long J at the end and the I is dotted with a star. It is appx. 1980's-1990's. It is marked .585 and tested. I've seen comparable necklaces listed in the $1,200 range. Stellar necklace and a great gift. Very good condition. (Lot. Loc. W.9.2218G.22X - LD 10/16/18).
