15-17thC Thai Buddha with Cambodian influence. Unusual type. The base was removed long ago at a time bronze was scarce in order to make other Buddha images. The face radiates a calm and peaceful countenance. The figure alone sits 5 inches tall, and 6.5 inches on a custom museum-style stand. Loss of finial and original base, but otherwise the condition is excellent.
