This second volume contains the Old Testament from the Book of Psalms and the New Testament
- Benoist published in 1566 with the argument that the Calvinist Geneva Bible should be given a French version. oppose catholic bible, together with four Parisian publishers/printers his translation, which was immediately condemned by the Sorbonne because of heretical tendencies.

The first two leaves with repaired inner margin, 2 leaves with tear repairs.
With bookplate Cardinal's hat over the coat of arms of the Chigi family.
Possibly from the possession of Fabio Chigi (the later Pope Alexander VII, made cardinal in 1651) or one of his two nephews (Flavio and Sigismondo), whom Alexander made cardinals after his papal election in 1655.
