15th c. Japanese Shigaraki Vase Jar
One 15th c. Japanese Muromachi period Shigaraki vase jar. Ash glazed earthenware. A large jar with a relatively short neck. The body is well rounded and somewhat asymmetrical. Excellent ash glazed glass droplets forming across the surface.
