15th century Gothic bronze mortar and pestle. A circular bronze mortar, the ball-shaped body with a row of upward pointing ribs. Gothic bronze mortar with profiled vertical support beams. In used condition, bronze, Spain, 15th century. Wonderful, heavy 15th century mortar with matching pestle. The mortar is in superb, used condition. Has clear signs of centuries of use.
