16 Roman / Medieval Iron & Copper Tools + Silver Ring

This is a fine collection of 15 projectile points, tools, and other implements made from iron and leaded bronze, and a high-quality silver ring! The projectiles are an array of iron items that include petite dart heads, arrows, and spear or lance tips. The jewelry includes a pin with a sharpened rod and spherical finial tip - for securing hair or clothing - and a 98% silver wire ring that is torque shaped, a thick center and tapering to terminal tips that are pushed together to create a complete hoop. Size (ring): 1" Diameter (2.5 cm); silver quality: 98%; weight: 2.6 grams; US ring size: 12; (longest lance tip): 8.5" L x 0.5" W (21.6 cm x 1.3 cm)

Provenance: ex-Davis collection, Houston, Texas, acquired before 2013 from various auction houses in London and New York
