Compares the weights/coinage of the Jews, Greeks, Romans and Byzantines; also includes a chapter on the metals and alloys used by the ancients. The author was the first Gresham professor of astronomy and a distinguished mathematician and antiquary; the present work was edited by his son, Robert Brerewood.
Condition Report: Some margins tattered near front and back with some slight loss of neatlines or marginal notes, corners bumped/rounded, dust-soiling and light stains to first/last couple of leaves, else some minor stains in places.
