Printed on thick, very clean paper. All maps are decorated with beautiful cartouches held by angels, mythological animals or splendid architectural scrolls. Enc. in full skin with dry irons in both planes, nerves, skin with some rubbing. We present the volume that the famous cartographer Iohannem Blaeu dedicated to the Iberian Peninsula, with the text in German in a beautiful Gothic typography. The work was born at the height of Dutch cartography and is therefore very much appreciated.
