1 portrait by A. Zylveldt after F. Hals depicting the author,
10 portraits of i.a. Philip II, Margaret of Parma, William of Orange, the Duke of Alva, Alexander Farnese, etc.,
1 full-page plate and 13 double-page engraved bird's-eye views and battle scenes (i.a. Den Briel, Spanish Fury and iconoclasm in Antwerp, Woerde, Leiden, Haarlem, Naerden, etc.).
Title in red and black.

Pieter Bor, or Pieter Christiaensz Bor (1559-1635) was a Dutch Golden Age writer and historian. His portrait was painted by Frans Hals in 1634, and it was engraved for his book in 1637.
