Obverse: armoured soldier, riding right and holding a sword, his horse's head held high, only the upper portion of its mane visible with a distinct loop to its tail. 'IAC · II · DEI · GRA · MAG · BRI · FRA · ET · HIB · REX ·' around. Reverse: crowned shields of royal arms arranged cruciform around a central cron, 'ANO DOM 16 90' in the angles, 'CHRISTO · VICTORE · TRIVMPHO ·' around. Weight: 17g. Diameter: 33.4mm. Grade: EF - a light silvery tone, probably as struck, some very minor surface environmental pitting, otherwise Extremely Fine, the best we have seen for the issue.
